James D. Stoker II, CIMA
Principal
Mr. Stoker is a founder of WaterStreet Investment Consultants and serves as Managing Director. With more than 28 years of experience, he consults to endowments, foundations, public, and private companies on investment management and policy, fiduciary responsibility, custody, and trust matters. Prior to founding WaterStreet, Mr. Stoker spent 19 years with Smith Barney’s Consulting Group, where, most recently, he was a Director responsible for evaluating and monitoring investment advisory firms and providing consulting services to institutional clients. Mr. Stoker’s previous positions include Senior Financial Analyst at Cooper Industries, Senior Financial Analyst and Corporate Cash Manager at DSC Communications (Alcatel), and 2nd Lieutenant, U.S. Army, FA. Mr. Stoker served as the president of the Association of Professional Investment Consultants from 2001-2002.

Mr. Stoker is President of the WaterStreet Foundation. He holds a BS and BA in Finance from the University of Arkansas and an A.A. from the New Mexico Military Institute.

Kelly D. Chimera
Senior Investment Consultant
Ms. Chimera, a founder of WaterStreet Investment Consultants, is a Senior Investment Consultant specializing in consulting to endowments and foundations. Ms. Chimera brings more than 10 years of experience to the firm, where she is responsible for conducting quarterly client meetings, attribution analysis, manager due diligence, asset allocation, and investment policy development. As a member of the Investment Committee, Ms. Chimera conducts capital markets and investment manager research and analysis. Prior to joining WaterStreet, Ms. Chimera was an Investment Management Analyst with Smith Barney’s Consulting Group responsible for client service, performance reporting, asset allocation analysis, and manager research and selection.

Ms. Chimera is Vice President and a board member of the WaterStreet Foundation.  She earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Chimera earned the designation of an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. She is a CFA Level II candidate.

Gregory S. Kalb
Senior Investment Consultant
Mr. Kalb, a founder of WaterStreet Investment Consultants, is a Senior Investment Consultant specializing in alternative investment research, analysis, and consulting to institutions. He serves WaterStreet’s clients by conducting quarterly client meetings, attribution analysis, manager due diligence, asset allocation, and investment policy development. As a member of the Investment Committee, he is responsible for capital markets and investment manager research and analysis. Prior to joining WaterStreet, Mr. Kalb was an Investment Management Analyst with Smith Barney’s Consulting Group.

Mr. Kalb is a WaterStreet Foundation board member. He earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Kalb was awarded the designation of an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He is a CFA candidate.

W. Adam Price
Investment Analyst

Mr. Price joined WaterStreet Investment Consultants, LLC in 2008 as an Investment Analyst and is a member of the Investment Committee. In this role, he assists the senior consultants with research and analysis specifically asset allocation/optimization analysis, fund/manager searches, and maintaining operational software. Mr. Price also assists with client service, including account trading and rebalancing, updating account information for online client access, as well as processing contributions and withdrawals for client portfolios. Prior to joining WaterStreet, Mr. Price was a Client Service Associate at Smith Barney with The Stone Group.

Mr. Price serves on the Board of the WaterStreet Foundation. He earned a BBA in Finance from Texas State University. He is a CFA candidate.

Meredith M. Casey
Business Development & Investor Relations Associate

Ms. Casey joined WaterStreet Investment Consultants in 2008 as the Business Development & Investor Relations Associate. In this capacity, she supports the development and implementation of business development initiatives, while managing the Firm's marketing, communications, and public relation efforts. Prior to joining WaterStreet, Ms. Casey was an Account Manager at FOX News Digital and FOX Cable Networks in New York City where she was responsible for client relations and developing marketing and advertising plans.

Ms. Casey is a board member of the WaterStreet Foundation and earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Jason K. Khawaja
Investment Analyst

Mr. Khawaja joined WaterStreet Investment Consultants in 2008 as an Investment Analyst and is a member of the Investment Committee. In this role, he is responsible for capital markets research, allocation and optimization analysis, and fund/manager searches. He also assists with client service, including account trading/rebalancing, maintenance of client web access, and processing contributions and withdrawals from client portfolios. Additionally, Mr. Khawaja creates monthly performance reports and prepares quarterly performance reviews for our high net worth, endowment, and foundation client relationships. Prior to joining WaterStreet, Mr. Khawaja was an Account Service Associate with Edward Jay Financial, LLC. 

Mr. Khawaja serves on the board of The WaterStreet Foundation. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance. He is a CFA candidate.

Leslie K. Williams
Human Resources Manager
Ms. Williams, a founder of WaterStreet Investment Consultants, is Human Resources Manager. In this role, she manages human resources, accounting, the firm’s budget, benefits administration and payroll. Ms. Williams serves as a member of the Compliance Committee where she is actively involved in legal and regulatory issues related to the firm and its employees. Prior to joining WaterStreet, Ms. Williams was the Assistant Practice Administrator at Walker, Bright, & Lewis, P.C. where she assisted with the administrative practices at the firm, including accounts payable, technology, facilities management, and human resources.

Ms. Williams serves as a board member of the WaterStreet Foundation. Ms. Williams holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
